Joe and Brittany Matthews currently live in one of the hottest spots in Minneapolis, the charming and historic neighborhood, Kingfield. Their 100-year-old home is feeling more cramped after having their newborn son. Their wishlist is more closet space, a transitional main level with a bathroom, master suite with a large bathroom, and even a wine cellar. The trick is, Brittany holds an elected seat and moving would mean stepping down. Brad and Heather thought their neighborhood was perfect and they could renovate and provide everything on the Matthews wishlist while having a great return on investment. They turned Joe and Brittany’s old home into a new spacious dream home while keeping the history and charm of the original house, and even adding a stellar wine cellar in the basement.
