What to Expect from the New Foxwell at the Galleria

I’m so excited to finally share what we’ve been working on these past few months. After six years of learning, tweaking, and falling more in love with what we do, the new Foxwell at the Galleria is the most “us” version of the shop yet. Every decision in this space comes from what we’ve learned along the way, and we can’t wait for you to experience the new store. Here’s what you can look forward to.

More Curated Than Ever

Over the past six years, we’ve figured out which brands we love, which are truly high quality, and which ones our customers keep coming back for. We’ve learned the colors you gravitate toward and the pieces that make you stop in your tracks. All of that experience has gone into this store, and it shows. The selection is tuned in, and nothing is here just to fill a shelf.

The Galleria gives us access to a wider demographic, which means we’ve been able to bring in a lot more unique, special pieces that we couldn’t carry before. If you’ve ever picked something up in our shop and wished we had more like it, this is for you.

Custom Furniture, Easier to Explore

We’ve always sold furniture and rugs, and custom pieces have long been a big part of what we do. What’s different now is how easy it is to see everything. We’ve set up the store so the options and fabric choices are right in front of you, and putting a piece together is simpler than ever. Custom furniture can feel overwhelming when you’re staring at endless possibilities, so we wanted to make planning it more fun and a lot less stressful. You can touch the fabrics, compare colors, and picture how it all will look in your home and, if you’d like a hand, we’re always happy to help.

Local Goods and Art

We’re blessed to be part of such a thriving creative community here in Minneapolis, and I want that to show up on our shelves. You’ll find more local goods and art in the new store, made by talented people right here in our city. Supporting local makers is one of my favorite parts of this work. There’s something special about bringing home a piece made by someone in your own community, and I think you’ll feel that when you see what we’ve brought in.

A Smaller Space, the Same Amount of Merch

Our footprint at the Galleria is smaller, but don’t worry, we didn’t cut back on the goods! We created full custom shelving built specifically for this space. After six years in our last store, we know what we could have done differently and how we could have used the space better, and we put every one of those lessons to work here.

Having less room has actually been a gift. Everything is much more intentional now, from what we carry to how it’s displayed. We’ve already tested and iterated, and we’re locked in on what we love and what our clientele loves. Nothing feels crowded, and everything has its place.

True Home Goods, with a Sprinkle of Apothecary

The focus of the new store is true home goods, the things that make a house feel like a home. We’re still keeping a sprinkling of our favorite apothecary products, because we couldn’t let those go entirely. They’re the little extras that make a great gift, or a nice treat for yourself while you’re browsing.

Texture and Color

Our goal for this space was simple: bring in more texture and color. We wanted layers, warmth, and pieces that make a room feel alive. When you walk in, I hope you feel inspired to try something new in your own home, whether that’s a bold rug, a rich fabric, or a pop of color you hadn’t considered.

A Store That’s Also a Portfolio

This store also showcases our design style more than ever before. It’s part shop, part portfolio. As you wander through, you’ll see how we put things together and how all the elements play off one another. I hope you leave with ideas and inspiration for your own space, and maybe a few new favorites to take home.

Thank you for supporting us over the past six years. This new chapter wouldn’t be possible without you. Come say hi, take your time, and tell us what you think!
