I grew up in Carver, MN but have spent the majority of my adult life in Minneapolis. I studied Communications at St Cloud State University where I wrote for the University Chronicle and served on the Special Events Committee of the University Program Board.

My career path started in the service industries, working front lines for retailers Express, Macy's, and Crate & Barrel, and later waiting tables at local restaurants like Lucia's Wine Bar, Hell's Kitchen and French Meadow. Curating an overall experience is my bread and butter. I enjoyed the flexibility of restaurant work and I was good at it. As I neared my 40s, I was ready for a change, and my passion for health & exercise met my sales skill set in an account management position with fitness giant, Life Time. After a year in that position, a new opportunity presented itself and I began managing Life Time's first MN coworking space in the West End. The role was a perfect blend of property management, concierge, and event planning, and despite a couple of tumultuous years through the pandemic and civil upset, I powered through and helped open Life Time Work's third MN location in Downtown Minneapolis in 2021.

I value diversity and tenacity in my personal and social circles, so it only made sense for that sentiment to eventually trickle over into my professional life as well. Following the somewhat later-in-life purchase of my first home, I decided to broaden my potential by getting my real estate license. My mission is to work with all types of buyers and sellers, but particularly, to leverage those in otherwise underrepresented sectors who, like me, may have had a sordid past with credit or financial stability, and to assist them in turning the dream of homeownership and personal wealth into a reality.

In my free time, I enjoy indoor cycle and barbell strength training classes, outdoor bike rides, vintage and antique shopping, and stand-up comedy. I love my new North Minneapolis neighborhood, my home, and my three cats. And I am more likely to belt out a karaoke song in front of a room full of people or do the "Single Ladies" dance than I would be to make a toast or a professional speech - although I can do that, too - and have - in my role as Board Member for The Bridge for Youth.

The discovery piece of any sale is my favorite, and I look forward to learning more about you and helping you with your first (or next) real estate venture!
